Asus Zenfone 2 - Cost Effective Business Phone

The price may not provide a good indicator of the quality of the phone. But it's the user experience that counts, Right?
To me, A simple powerful tool can help you achieve just about anything!
I got my self a Zenfone 2 Lazer (ZE550KL) not too long ago and have never felt so good about "Cheap Phones" (Mine, cost me RM599). And, I have been using it for my business.

The phone feels responsive. As long as you are not playing high tech 3D games, both its processor (a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon) and the on-board Memory (which is 2Gb in size) should be more than enough to handle most if not all applications. Oh ya, the phone actually comes with a 64-bit Android OS (Upgradable to version 6).

About its Display: It has 5.5 inch screen, a Bluelight Filter (to filter out harmful lights) and a Auto Brightness Control (which I reckon is very accurate). If set correctly, can help you to extend its battery life, among others. Note: Not all Auto Brightness Control is created equally.

It's unbreakable: Dropped the phone faced-down on the cement pavement from the seat of my Land Cruiser once. And, wow, it survived a fall of at least 3 feet... chipped the front panel though, but not the glass  Thanks to its Gorilla 4 glass.

You will never run out of phone resources. Asus Auto-start Manager lets you select which application to start automatically. Being a techie, I love tweaking. And, I have tweaked just about everything. And, that includes disabling some Asus System Apps and bloatware found on the phone. By doing that I have made the phone even more responsive than ever.

I keep the storage (it only has 32Gb onboard) utilization as low as possible, I use shortcuts to access to frequently opened sites instead of using webapps downloaded from Google Play. I keep all my confidential documents in the phone/internal storage for security reasons. Note: Locking your phone/screen does not secure the data stored on your MicroSD/External storage.

I got my Dad a 2016 Asus Zenfone Go (powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, A 5 inch phone which is priced at RM499). He likes it.
Phone setup can be tricky but it does pay off though. Because only by setting it up correctly you can definitely bring out the best in it.
ZenFone 2 is dual SIM, 4G LTE and USB-OTG ready. I would say the quality of photographs is not bad. Just like, many phone cameras, the quality of the photos taken at night aren't that great. The cons include: No Split-Screen but that does not really worry me at all.
